Our Story
We had followed each other on Instagram since high school, but never spoke — just years of showing up in each other’s feeds.
Then came July 2020. Erika left a sarcastic comment on one of Jake’s workout posts. Jake decided this was his moment… and slid into her DMs. His opening line? Not about the workout, but about Erika’s pet rabbit. (Smooth, right?)
That one message turned into conversations about shared interests like fitness, hiking, and living in York. Our first date was kayaking on the Susquehanna River, followed by pizza at Vito’s. Not long after, we took our first beach trip to Dewey, which sparked a shared love for the shore which makes our Ocean City wedding feel even more special.
Since then, we’ve moved in together, brought home our German Shepherd, Luna, and built a life full of adventures, both big and small. We can’t wait for the next chapter — celebrating with all of you.
